Who Are We?
After over 10 years working as a staffer in tv and then digital media/online, I thought that the time was right to make a move and do it for myself. True, this was somewhat forced upon me when the plug was pulled on Channelbee, but I think the timing was perfect. The rise of social media coupled with advancements in technology has meant that digital video is accessible to all, and is therefore very much in demand.
At Soccer AM and Channelbee I worked closely with brands and agencies for over 10 years, placing their products or talent on screen within an entertaining editorial context; ‘branded’ content in all but name. Brands (and increasingly, personalities as ‘brands’) are the new broadcasters, and my experience has put me in an ideal position to help. I’m not an advertising creative, I’m a tv producer with an eye for how you can push brand awareness in an editorial context.
As for the difference between me and Resolution Square, I’m a producer-director/cameraman/editor for hire; a one-stop shop for affordable video production. If you need someone to come up with a creative brief, to write script, interview celebs, shoot, edit, encode, or to help with your social media or YouTube channel, I can help. But I’m building this for the future so I wanted to create a brand name which would eventually become established in its own right, hence Resolution Square. We generally operate as one or two-man crews but that doesn’t mean that we can’t handle large-scale projects; one of the reasons I can keep costs low is that I can call upon a network of freelancers as and when required. Looking slightly further ahead, I’m developing various projects which will hopefully put Resolution Square on the map as a larger scale production company in its own right.
Hopefully you’ll find what you need on here, whether that be examples of my work or details of services offered. If you have any questions/queries, please do not hesitate to contact me personally via email or Twitter.
